Chester Miscarriage Support aims to provide a safe environment in which men and women experiencing the grief of losing a pregnancy or baby can come together to share their experiences and provide each other with mutual support.
- Whether your loss has been confirmed, happened a few days, weeks, months or even years ago…
- Whether you have had a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, blighted ovum or termination due to fetal abnormality…

How We Can Help
Group Support Sessions
Our support group meets every first Tuesday of the month. During our sessions you will have the opportunity to meet others who have been through the loss of a baby and share your journey with people who can give you advice and support whilst you move through what can sometimes be a very overwhelming and lonely time.
One to one Support
Karen, who leads our group, has been supporting families through baby loss for over 20 years. For those who do not feel they are able to meet within the group sessions, Karen is able to offer one to one phone sessions.
Making A Difference
The Chester Miscarriage Support Group has been working with the Maternity Voices Partnership to improve the care received by those going through pregnancy and baby loss within the Countess Of Chester Hospital. We have already made huge progress and your experiences support us in ensuring the care give within our local trust is the best it can be at such a difficult time.

Chester Baby Memorial Garden
This baby memorial garden was built for parents to enable them to acknowledge their loss and have somewhere to go to grieve and remember their baby. The garden is situated within the grounds of Blacon Crematorium and houses several beautiful headstones which you are able to add your babies name to.
